Why choose Leadax?

Leadax Easy SA combines recycled PVB with two self-adhesive butyl strips. Cut to size, pre-form by hand and secure it to a suitable substrate. A lightweight, lead-free solution for dormers, roof windows, chimney connections, ridges, in-roof solar panels and heat pumps.

Smarter

Two self-adhesive butyl strips hold the flashing in place on a suitable, clean and dry substrate. Shape by hand and press firmly into place with a roller.

Easy SA is lead-free and weighs 2.2 kg/m² excluding the butyl strips. Its low weight makes it easy to carry onto the roof and handle during installation.

Made from recycled PVB recovered from laminated safety glass and designed to be reused as a raw material at the end of its service life.

Versatile applications

For the work you already know

Use Easy SA at dormers, roof windows and ridges, and for connections around in-roof solar panels and heat pumps on tiled roofs. For connections to roof tiles around chimneys, use Easy SA in combination with a clamping profile. Follow the installation instructions for each detail.

Developed for professionals

More metres. Less strain.

Cut to size and pre-form by hand. Remove the protective liners from the two butyl strips and press firmly onto a suitable substrate with a roller. Five-metre rolls let you complete longer runs in one piece. For flat and low-pitched roofs, we recommend Leadax Original with all joints and edges fully sealed. Use Original for applications requiring fixing clips, too.

Everything for a sound installation

Easy SA has a KIWA Covenant and an expected service life of approximately 25 years. Install above 5 °C on a dry substrate free from dust and grease. For overlaps, allow 80 mm, shorten the butyl strips at the overlap and use Leadax High-Tack sealant. Press firmly with a roller. Explore installation guidance →
