What makes Leadax Easy FA unique?

Leadax Easy FA is a circular, fully self-adhesive lead replacement made from recycled polyvinyl butyral (r-PVB). PVB is the safety film used in laminated glass such as car windows. Therefore, unlike traditional waterproofing products, Leadax Easy FA is non-toxic, and not harmful to your health or the environment.

After the expected lifetime of at least 25 years, the product can be easily disassembled and the product is recycled. The raw materials are then reused to make new products. Thus, no new raw materials need to be extracted and we close the circle.

With a weight of only 2.2 kg per m² (better for your back!) and a thickness of only 1.8 mm, excluding the butyl, the product is super thin and light. Yet the self-adhesive lead replacement is certainly just as strong as traditional lead. In addition, the product is available in roll lengths of 5 meters. So you can seal more in the same time with less overlap. Leadax Easy FA is better for your back, better for your time and better for your budget. Win-win-win

Common Leadax Easy FA applications:

As a water barrier under window frames
On the underside of chimneys with connection to the roof tiles.
As a water barrier on the ridge of a (tile) roof.
For sealing dormers and skylights on the underside and as a connection of side walls of dormers to the tiled roof.
As a valley.

For flat and slightly pitched roofs, we recommend using Leadax Original, provided the seams and edges are completely sealed with Leadax High-Tack.
