1. Window casings
Leadax Easy SA can be used as a water barrier in (cavity) walls and under window frames.
2. Chimney
Leadax Easy SA can be used at the bottom of a chimney with connection to the roof tiles.

Leadax Easy SA can be applied as a water barrier on the ridge of a (tile) roof.
4. Dormer
Leadax Easy SA can be applied to the base of dormers and skylights as a sealing layer at the joint between the dormer sidewalls and tiled roofs.

Valley
Leadax lead replacement is a perfect alternative to the zinc trap. One of the advantages Leadax lead replacements have over using zinc is that our product does not need to be formed in the workshop. This means that the product can be applied directly. In addition, the lead replacement can be applied in roll lengths of 5 meters. This way the job is done quickly.
Examples of valley applications
Chimney
Leadax Easy SA is also perfect as a lead replacement in chimney applications. You can apply the product in the same way as lead, including soakers and counters. The result? A chimney with a lead substitute that at first glance cannot be distinguished from lead, but for you as a user it is easier to use. Please note that when you install Leadax Easy SA in the joint, you have to shorten the self-adhesive strips by 80 mm beforehand.
Leadax Easy SA contains expanded metal, so it is easy to cut it to size and it keeps its shape. It is therefore easier to apply.
Examples of chimney applications
Dormer
Leadax Easy SA can either be applied directly to the roof, or pre-made in the workshop as a prefabricated product. In addition, you can get our lead replacement in different colors, such as lead gray, black and terracotta. The colors white and copper are available on request. So it always fits your roof and dormer.Â
In addition, the product is just as robust as lead, so there is no risk of it being damaged by the wind. To be completely sure, we recommend using Leadax high-tack sealant to attach the lead replacement to the roof tiles.
