1. Walls and frames
Leadax Original can be used as a water barrier in (cavity) walls and under window frames.
2. Chimneys
Leadax Original can be used at the bottom of a chimney with connection to the roof tiles.
3. Soakers
Leadax Original can be used with chimney gutters to create a water barrier.
4. Dormer
Leadax Original can be used on the underside of dormers or skylights as a waterproofing and as a connection of side walls of dormers to the tiled roof.
5. Extension
Apply Leadax Original as a waterproof connection between an exterior wall and an addition.

Valley
Leadax Original is a perfect alternative for your valley gutter. One of the advantages Leadax lead replacement has over using zinc is that our product does not need to be formed in the workshop. This means that the product can be applied directly. In addition, Leadax Original can be applied in roll lengths of 6 and 12 meters, which means that you have to make fewer overlaps. This saves time and costs.
Examples of valley applications
Chimney
Leadax Original is also perfectly suited as a lead replacement in chimney applications. You can apply the product in the same way as lead, including soakers. The result? A chimney with a lead substitute that at first glance cannot be distinguished from lead, but for you it is easier to use. Leadax Original also contains expanded metal and is therefore easy to cut to size. It also retains its shape so applying it is easier.

Dormer
Leadax Original can either be applied directly to the roof or made in advance in the workshop as a prefabricated product. In addition, you can get our lead replacement in various colors, such as lead gray, black and terracotta. White and copper are available on request. So it always fits your roof and dormer.
In addition, the product is just as robust as lead, so there is no risk of it being affected by the wind. To be completely sure, we recommend using Leadax high-tack sealant to attach the lead replacement to the roof tiles.

Cavity walls and window frames
A cavity wall is a place where you normally find a lot of lead. When you apply lead, you must create an overlap after every meter. Otherwise, lead can crack due to temperature changes. Leadax Original is applied in the same way as traditional lead, but easier.
